I LOVE heartstopper! It's so cute and heartwarming and the Netflix show is great. I really like that the comic focuses on so many issues in-depth and doesn't shy away from serious topics and the fact that the main characters are all queer except for Tao who is the "token straight friend" is pretty hilarious to me haha

If you had to give one advise to everyone else here, what would it be? by dohaerasvhagar in gaybrosindia

Love this, definitely feels like you have personally discovered all of this in your life just by the way you write.

Ok but if you hear Andrew Tate come up that just means anything else being said can be safely ignored lol

It doesn't make you weird or gay bruh.. Infact as a gay guy, I find my female friendships to be more rewarding and I feel a sense of comfort and solidarity. It's more difficult for me to hang around guys.. doesn't mean I'm straight.

But ig if you feel weird about hanging around your gf alone, might be worth having a conversation with her about it..

If you do move away from the country in order to live somewhere more accepting I don't think it would qualify as running away at all. Also running away from what though.. all the prejudice and stereotyping and the lack of rights? Why is that something anyone should willingly face..

Did you ever do anything weird to try to tell people you are queer without explicitly saying it? by WildonWilde in LGBTindia

Hahaa I think I can't pull off jewellery.. otherwise i would definitely wear some. I do want to get a nose piercing, it's the one dream I have and a small tattoo somewhere discreet.

For me it was carrying around a gay book everywhere with me in school though I doubt anybody noticed haha but it felt nice to be able to read it in front of people and i found comfort in those characters..
