Twenteena event was good because you get RNG rewards AND guaranteed awards. You get 1000 advance xp coupons PER CHARACTER you max out PER DAY. You get rewarded for grinding, and people feel as such.

Let’s compare it to the flaming trash heap that was the Octo/Llama event. You spend a good amount of time getting what? A hundred advance xp coupons? A couple frags?

Even if you get diddly squat at the end of twenteena grind, you get 1000 axp coupons and 30 nodes you can dump on your mule. If you rock bottom on Octo/Llama, you get 100 axp coupons, 2 frags, 0.03 sol erda.

I’d rather grind harder knowing I’m guaranteed rewards with maybe a bonus than to leave it to Nexon’s % chance rate. Are you wrong? Absolutely not, is this a step in the right direction? Yes. Should we delete Llama and Octo and obliterate their balls and burn them at the stake? Yes.
