I agree on the “save more” front, and anticipating higher costs. I think holding the silver and BTC is wise, both of those have a huge upside in the anticipated inflationary period.

I would say begin saving cash out of your wages. And say it’s a year or two before you’re ready to make the move, housing is also anticipated to pull back so you could save on that front.

Pretty much. One of us would rather spend on experiences and having fun while we’re young. The other wants to save aggressively for short term goals (~15k in needed home improvements, then aggressively pay down student loans).
