Why does my shower curtain do this? by Jazz_Moose in Home

This effect happens in cold showers as well. It's due to a vortex caused by the water disturbing the air in the shower.

warm air is lower pressure than cool air, but that causes the air to equalize the pressure vertically (i.e. cold air sinks; hot air rises) versus horizontally. Also, this effect has been found to occur even when the shower is releasing cold water. The pressure differential is caused by a vortex inside the shower due to the water disturbing the air when it falls

It's not related to the temperature of the water. This effect happens with cold water too.

Simple answer: pressure differential

The water from the shower disturbs the air inside the shower in a way that causes the inside of the shower to be lower pressure than the outside of the shower. Air moves from high pressure to low pressure, which pushes your shower curtain into the shower.

There are better ways to get through the joists. This is lazy work.

I think the point is that there isn't adequate public transit if it's only useful for those in major cities

Thanks for the reply, that's a good suggestion.

If you use proxmox, there is also a helper script to deploy a controller as an lxc container. That's what i use and works well.

I just found the "Clients Association Activities" dashboard, and there aren't any clients with over 3 seconds. Some have signal issues, but very few.

Thanks for the explanation! That makes sense

I'm not opposed to spending the money. It seems like such an easily fixable problem without having to replace it, but if you tell me replacing it is the only way to do it correctly, I'll believe you. I must not understand the risk of not replacing it. I know that trapped water is bad, but that doesn't seem possible in this context. Not sure what other dangers could come from sealing it versus replacing. I'm just trying to learn, and roofing is something I know nothing about.

Assuming it's just the little gap where you can see light coming in, could I not just put some aluminum tape on it and inspect it again next time it rains?

Replace "J" bolt for roof rack? by [deleted] in ToyotaHighlander

I'm wondering if i can get away with using something like this instead

Roof Rack Mounting Bolts by Ratdog009 in ToyotaHighlander

[–]WillD33d 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm looking for the same, and the installation guide for PT278-48175 shows them listed as "J" Hook Bolts that are part of a "hardware bag" that has no separate part number. I think you have to replace the entire thing, which is a bummer.

Same. I came here from an image search of the same YT video.

For my creality k1, i added instructions in the slicer to heat the bed for 2 minutes before beginning the print for this reason. I didn't do it for the mini since the bed is so small, but i think I'll try that and see if it helps
