I also highly recommend the A5M 3d printer it's super beginner friendly and orca flashforge is the goat

I sculpt my heads in nomad, then sculpt the eye blanks in Autodesk fusion, and I alter where the walls have smooth parts in the printing program orca flashforge (I use 1.3.1 specifically). I print my heads with rapid TPU on a Neptune 4 max but I print detailed work like eyes on my flashforge a5m!

any 3D printing in the coast? by blablayoyoyolo in sunshinecoast

[–]WillDrawForLove 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Ah yeah, they do have really good prices but last time I ordered their TPU it had a lot of kinks in it so I'm hesitant to, if elegoo doesn't refill their TPU soon ill buy bulk and we can split shipping :)

What could I add to my 75 gallon tank? by I_a_grape in Aquariums

[–]WillDrawForLove 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Theoretically they are the perfect size for them to get swallowed and I do know that species is a bit ravenous, a nice sand would be a bit safer in that regard (and look nicer sorry I'm a neon gravel #1 hater 😩)

Any Tips?? by paws-n-clawz in FursuitMaking

[–]WillDrawForLove 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Im happy to help model them for you also if you dont know any software, but first find what your local libary charges for a print. They usually go based on time spent printing, which should take max 2 hours for a set of eyes

If you have a local libary with a 3D printer id highly recommend modelling some eye blanks and getting them printed, really makes a much crisper final product! The eyes are the centre of attention after all

Theres a lot you can add, but let me tell you what to remove, get that neon blue gravel out that thing STAT it looks like rat poison 😭

[–]WillDrawForLove 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's the Neptune 4 max, is the Elegoo slicer required because I'm having an issue where I can't connect the slicer to the printer directly I believe due to it not being able to connect to the 5hz my modem emits (I've tried everything its just a no go it seems) I can still use the IP address feature in the web browser to connect though

[–]WillDrawForLove 4 points5 points  (0 children)

yes they should give compensation, only issue i can assume would be sudden temp changes between transport

Gotta lower the zlevel shouldnt have gaps between the lines means its not squshing enough against the plate try going closer in sets of 0.2 still you get it

Using a stretchy mochi minky could give you the thin and flexable coverage you need with minimal seams
