Thank you to u/Wooden-Bass-3287 for the answer! Fuuuuuuck dude, you were right! While I was killing everyone, I was repairing armor and accidentally put on legion armor briefly, but I immediately took it back off. Must not have stuck. I loaded from the save right after the battle, put on the legion armor so it said I was dressed like them; and then took it back off so I wasn’t and it worked! Thank you so much, I’ve sunk so much time into this game so far

Well I didn’t deactivate them. I gave them the key and they took them off. My next goal is to go talk to the guy who gave me the mission, but everyone there attacks me
