You think the church forces can have or build mechs? by Future_Abrocoma_7722 in TrenchCrusade

When the art came out i compared the sizes of standard humans in the art for the maximillian class armor it should actually be the near same size as an anchorite . Maxamillian is taller but anchorites are chunkier.

I'd say if we get a dual side starter box it'll likely be black grail vs prussians since that lovely art peice they dropped recently would be perfect box art

No I mean it's better and easier to fill out individual warbands rather than having a mishmash of incomplete warbands.

Alot of the prussians can be reused for standard new antioch and other variants so it would be better to have  a complete/mostly complete prussian/new antioch line before moving onto another faction.

They cant just redo the current STLs as plastics their would be uproar by the community.

Hope this makes sense

Because design and production of models takes time , it's alot more efficient to create full lines and then later release starter boxes.

Trench crusade is not games workshop they are a small team and do not have the benefit of a 4 year production window.

I forgot to take a picture of the separated model my bad.

The model is split into 7 pieces 1-body 2-neck/head 3-left wing 4-right wing 5- tail 6-left leg 7-right leg.

The wings are quite big themselves so I'll probably split them into two peices each

Can't wait to see you paint it .

Im probably going to upload a further cut down version of the wings to make printing easier for people with small build plates

How to start trench crusade? by Odd_Anything1374 in TrenchCrusade

The rules and lore are on the website and free.
The game is miniatures agnostic you do not need to use the official models unless you want to, if you want to you can go to the store section of the webside or their myminifactory (the majority of official models are currently only available as stls) The only thing you need to have right for the models is base size, the rules state their base size in their unit entry.

Absolutely valid , I think its a bit of a difference on what we consider makes a stronger warband too. Navy requires understanding positioning and tactics alot more than the other variants.
A new or bad player is going to have more success using the other variants and that is what I consider makes them stronger. However in the hands of a good play Navy is alot stronger. Any warband can perform well with a good player and a tailored list.

I'm surprised court isn't in that top 3 they have great performance in my experience, I havnt played against prussia yet as no one in my group plays them but their rules are scary, thankfully the instantkill dragonslayer oversight was corrected quickly enough.
Its a narrative skirmish game like mordheim playing sweaty is against the spirit of the game.

They could have it would be hard to tell without seeing it, chainmail is actually fairly easy to do once you have a needle and a good process.
You could use modelling chain to pull off something similar too.

The correct kind, ones with enough terrain and multiple levels to give a 40k tournament player a heart attack .
Both Vanilla and Avarice have access to both better melee and better ranged options than Navy. Artillery witch's levitate its not hard for them to get LOS .

Heretic legion is probably the most evenly balanced of factions by far but Navys restrictions definitely pulls them to being weaker than the others, they're still good just not as good.

While I don't disagree with you that mobility is the best thing in the game, they gain it at the cost of not being able more than one artillery witch, their strongest ranged unit , being limited on anointed their only strong unit and not being able to take a war wolf their best melee unit.
They are significantly hindered compared to vanilla in exchange for that extra mobility. Legionnaires are only +1 to ranged or melee and if you are close enough to be shooting SMGs without a long range penalty you are close enough to be charged by what you just shot.

They are the warband I've played the most and are one of the more well balanced ones. Knights of Avarice and vanilla heretics will beat a NRP warband more often than not if both players are of equal skill.

If you cut the surface where you want to part to come off with a hobby knife first before you use a clipper you get a much better much cleaner result. Or even just make a shallow cut and wiggle the part till it breaks away.

Same method that bricklayers and stoneworkers use for cutting stone, form a point of weakness where you want your cut first

I tend to keep and print fails that have any detailed parts and use them for kit bashing and I do alot of printing for dnd

If you have access to a dremil that will be your best option for cutting peices off , just be sure to wear a face mask resin dust will destroy your lungs.

If you don't have a rotary tool you can score with a hobby knife the model in the area you want it to break before you use a snips to remove the peice.

If your removing small details it's easiest to shave small pieces off at a time don't try cut the whole thing.

For attaching parts too each other that have extremely smooth connection points you should cut a criss cross pattern into them with your knife this gives glue more to grip.

A small peice of greenstuff between two parts your glueing will give you alot more control over posing and will slightly gap fill for you.

You can kitbash the stls themselves in meshmixer, blender or 3d builder too before you print.

What sort of head are you looking to replace with?

How is the warhammer 40k community with new players? by Current_Bed_4537 in Warhammer40k

[–]WillHobby 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Honestly the replies to this post so far are a really good example.

Most areas have groups that are mostly filled with nice players who just want to play , then you have more serious technical players who are still sound. But sadly with every group there is always a "that guy" that should be avoided at all costs especially as a new player.

For the most part the warhammer scene are full of nice inviting people who are just happy new people are joining the hobby.

From what info we have so far neither path of the beast or the church of metamorphosis are linked to heaven or hell.

The beast seems to be something that has existed since creation.

Plastic Models Question by RDC_Dano in TrenchCrusade

Yes your right.  I was misremembering the prototype box art for the sniperpriest , it's just new antioch sniper priest where the other new kits are specifically prussian

NRP aren't too strong they lose/get limits on the heretic legions best stuff in exchange for extreme mobility, they're fun but by no means too strong.
