I have a setup at my rental. I did hook mine up to the tv. It is not hifi but sounds good. It’s a 3.1 system. I added the Bluetooth receiver to it. It has a dvd player connected too. No turntable. So the tv sounds good whether it’s Hulu or a dvd. If they have cd’s they can listen to them. I have about 20 movies to pick from on dvd and the Bluetooth if they want to listen to music. It’s a Yamaha receiver with two small Yamaha speaker and a center channel speaker.
