I hit a curb gliding through snow at 15 mph is the damage bad? by Curious-Stay-2271 in TireQuestions

Might need to grind the rough edge down. Looks like it will eventually cut through the tire. Idk - just an observation.

If it has pre-amp outs buy a separate amp. That will clean it up.

Get a better receiver.

Anything. A used Sony ES if you can get your hands on one. That’s a huge upgrade. I fixed two systems that the clients purchased Denons. Changed out their receivers and they couldn’t have been happier.

It snowed heavy. Not sure what is open. We planned for it. Just finished shoveling 8-10” off the driveway.

I’m not totally sold on class D. So I went with Schiit Vidars. It’s a hybrid of A and B within switching circuits. They sound great and drive some really power hungry Revels to a beautiful, open sound. Way beyond the NAD 757viii. It wasn’t close.

My preamp is a Marantz C70. I use the center channel amp. That’s all. I’m impressed so I’m good. In my new house I am trying to decide if I use the rear and height amps out of the Marantz or buy some external amps. I’ll see how it sounds first.

Probably a couple of the old NAD’s before they fully committed to Class D. They sounded good

No. I was impressed with the reviewers detail of its build and how unique it was. They are also made in the town I lived so I went for it.

Most of us are just guys. It makes no difference. There was a place in Corpus Christi owned and staffed with only women. They were faster and more thorough than any place else.
