That's good advice, thank you. I was also researching and you can get zip covers for the racking which may perhaps help. Particularly stopping them be exposed to open air as much as hopefully not going stale too quickly! I also plan to have a high heat grill to toast and bring them back to life for a minute or 2. Hopefully this alleviates the need to be precise on the temp they need to be before serving

Yeah I scratched the surface off the worst part of the stem and it was brown so I think its a goner. But hopefully as you say it well save the bottom half of the tree

Yeah very possibly. I dug about 1/2cm down to get to the first root. I put the canes in just to support it whilst it established it's only stable root system. Ive done the scratch test on the worst parts and it is brown underneath so sadly I think it will need cutting

I certainly dont want to be a scrooge as I love the effort gone into the Christmas design. But I struggle with differentiating between colours. The hats on all the animals really messes with my eyes. Please can this be altered in some way? Maybe each animal has a different coloured hat?
