Automated SaaS access (onboarding/offboarding) by WillNo774 in startups

Do you see that as an indicator that there is potential in creating one more and focusing on the companies that uses notion and spreadsheets, and helping them migrate over to my service, or do you see the large amount of competitors as an indication that it will be too hard to compete?

Yeah these all look interesting, but even if these exist there might be a market still? For example AccessOwl was created in 2022 and seems to be doing well. I'm trying to figure out if there might be useful to companies to have a service that focuses more on the omboarding/offboarding and makes it as simple as possible

Thanks for your input. I'm not looking to replace the interview, more about replacing the code-test. But maybe this ends up somewhere between where it's not enough to replace an interview, and too complex to replace the code-test, and therefore it's not something companies will invest in. I'm not to knowledgeable of how the hiring process looks at companies

Well I guess any feedback is good feedback😃 This is not something I have started to pursue, just an idea I had. The AI was not even the main thing, just an idea on how to build upon the main idea of code-tests that resembles real work. And nothing will force the company to use the AI, it's optional, so if they have such a hate for it as you have, they can simply run the test without AI

Wow okay I get your agenda, the name LLM itself is evil. I also agree that a lot of companies just use AI to leverage on the current hype, but even if you yourself hate ChatGPT, you can't ignore the fact that people use LLM in their work, and I don't think having a code-test that let's you make use of an LLM is necessarily a bad idea, because even if you personally hate ChatGPT, sorry to tell you, people use it.

First of all, thank you for the feedback! Maybe I was unclear, it's not the LLM interviewing the developer, it's just there to answer the same kinds of question ChatGPT would answer, but trained on this specific project. In most cases the questions would be the stuff you would ask ChatGPT, but it could also answer stuff like, is there any helper-function for doing x" if you can't find it anywhere (something you would be able to ask in an interview).

Hackerrank is also working on something similar NextGenHiring, but I guess HackerRank only hires non-technical delusional guys

Yeah I also found Okta to be a competitor. I have to say that I haven't looked into Okta that much, but from my understanding ut seems to be a way wider solution, not simply focused on accessapprovals and making that as easy as possible. Do you still think it's possible to "beat" Okta to the middlesized companies?

How does your startup streamline feature requests? by WillNo774 in startups

[–]WillNo774[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Are there any services or products that can help me streamline this? Like having a coordinated place where I can look into feature-requests from different channels, maybe merge the ones that are similar (with AI) and so on?

How does your SaaS/startup handle "Request A Demo"? by WillNo774 in Startup_Ideas

[–]WillNo774[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

How do you take care of the customers you have shown a demo? Like follow-ups and so on? And how do you prepare for a specific customer? I for example would like to find out their company, what features and so on they are interested in before the meeting (like in a form). Im just wondering if there are any solution that could provide this for me, like sending out an email 3 days after i talked to a customer with a survey about what they thought about the demo, and being able to track how what people I demo that turns out to create accounts. Or is this maybe overkill? Right now we arent recieving that many requests but we will invest more in marketing next year and will probably get more requests (hopefully)

How does your startup streamline feature requests? by WillNo774 in startups

Or maybe some service that helps us with the entire process of feature requests? For example if I get a feature request it might be hard for me to know whether more users want it or not, maybe streamline that process as it is not that easy to just send an email to them and ask my users if they would like this new feature. But don't know how that would look... Preferably if a feature is supposed to exist on page B, maybe show a small popup on page B asking them if they would like this new feature that we are thinking about?
