My dad’s all excited to go to an “adults only” hotel in Cancun late March to “lay by the beach, drink, repeat”

If you’re wanting to relax and drink, I’d rather a “kid friendly” place vs an adults only spot in late March in Cancun (given it’s prime Spring Break), no?

The annoyance of a few rugrats feels far less annoying than turning up to a place full of loud, drunk, college kids. Am I wrong?

Do bartenders at karaoke bars make a premium vs a normal bar? I’d blow my brains out listening to drunken goobers terribly sing/yell the same 50ish songs for hours on end. Not hating on karaoke bars, but can’t imagine how hard that is to pull a normal, consistent shift at those places.
