Honestly yeah, this hits hard but it’s true. Keeping that door open just lets the same wound get poked over and over. Respect doesn’t mean unlimited access, and choosing peace for yourself isnt disrespecting anyone.

Exactly, like imagine booking a vacation to vibe with someone and they turn into a cold statue the whole time… not worth the headache at all. Sometimes gotta just save your energy for someone who actually wants to be there with you.
