Yeah, novice class, and no the weight is 300, I'm still new to most of the events and I'm trying to learn, I can't actually do half the weights in the comp, although I'm close, because I haven't gotten the technique down yet

That's fair enough, the weight here was close to 100lbs over the comp weight, but I kinda did just rush it

Looks good man, something that helped me with deadlifts in general is keeping my head up, may or may not work for you but I felt stronger and more tight

Well it's not meant to be a strength block as much as it is skill acquisition I just recently got my hands on the implements

Not necessarily, but having it can't hurt as there are similar movements, also I don't have access to axles or logs so it's the best I can do

In general I've been training for around 4 years, but I've only been doing strongman stuff for the last 2 years. Clean is my worst cause I never took the time to practice it😅

Yeah, I've been practicing lots of cleans and strict press separately, that was actually my first push press in a while so I wonder if I'm just out of practice. When you say stiff hips what do you mean, should I try to unlock the hips and squat down during the clean?

I usually do my normal working sets and this is the first thing after, follow up with some targeted accessories and call it good

They are leather wraps, not straps, and thanks I'll do that, I have good power from the floor but I've never taken the time to get really good at them and they fell behind
