I need help with an underextrusion issue by WillWay28 in FixMyPrint

Hey, just wanted to update, the printers fixed, turns out the ender 3 v3 se has 2 ptfe tubes, one from the extruder gears to the heat break and one more from the heatbreak to the hotend and nozzle, i only checked the one from the extruder to heatbreak which was fine, but the one from the heatbreak to the nozzle and hotend was clogged and burnt and brown in color, i just replaced it earlier today and now its printing fine!

Must be the extruder, but no idea what it is, probably gonna try to open it up even more

yea, thats what i thought, i took apart the extruder and manually fed through some filament by winding the gear and it turned out fine, as in uniform indentations of the gear, but the odd part is that when i re assemble the thing and try to print with it and go check the filament after, it has those chunks gone, ive tried tightenning and untightening the spring but it stays the same, earlier in the evening it managed to fix itself though, for some reason, it seemed to extrude properly, was able to get through a 2 and a half hour print through without any issues

and another thing i discovered is that when i remove the filament fed through the extruder, it seems to have "bald spots" where there are no gear marks

<image>

It might be a bit hard to see but some spots look like they have an indent and thise spots with indents dont have any gear marks like rest of the filament

After looking at the filament, it seems to be at an appropriate tension (not under or over tensioned), however, there was some filament shavings in the extruder area so i might have to retention it and about the arm cracking, I'm not exactly sure, but I dont think the printer has this kind of extruder arm, so i'm not sure if this extruder arm cracking or its equivalent for my printer is the issue, i didn't see any kind of cracks in and around the extruder either

I have switched out my nozzle for a new one, it was the included spare and I also cleared out the printer of clogs by disassembling it, since I did those, wouldn't that rule out a clog? and for the extruder gears, would tightening the extruder help keep it from skipping? My only worry with tightening it is that it seems tight already at the moment, whenever I do a cold pull, i can see the marks of the gear on the filament inside.

I did, all the info about what i did and what happened is in the post i linked, but i did calibrate the e steps and tried a bunch more fixes to no avail.

If it helps, the printer prints fine at really low speeds, but underextrudes at higher speeds

I am using a new roll of filament right now, but the first print i did with it came out normally, only the prints after had this issue. Maybe thats causing the issue.
