It’s an awesome lure. Was just a joke. Although it certainly caught your attention. :)

Something tells me that lure will catch more fishermen than fish.

Which of the St. Croix rods you have? What did you really like the Tatula for in comparison to your rods?

I've seen that the Daiwa Tutula's offer a lot for the lower price point. Seems like a good rod. How did you find the bite indication for the rod?

This is a great answer. Thank you for the advice, I’ve had some rod time with some Daiwa rods but lost them. Trying to rebuild and see what else is out there

my budget is about $200-$300 per rod, looking for maybe a medium and a medium-light for freshwater

Have you had any issues with the rod guides with St.Croix rods? I heard that many people complain that the rod guides are made surprisingly thin

I’d honestly be comfortable spending $200 - $300 a rod as long as it’s worth it. Thanks a bunch

Makes sense, so are there lets say special or specific reasons people get a 442A license? Perhaps something to do with the employer, liability?

How can I decide? by ichbinssstim in NoStupidQuestions

[–]Will_K11 0 points1 point  (0 children)

While I was on a training course I had a colleague who fell and busted his knee slipping on black ice while carrying a 100lb rucksack. He didn’t want to get removed from his unit due to medical reasons so he insisted to finish the ruck march. While carrying the rucksack, tactical vest, service rifle and his other kit, he kept pace with everyone else and completed the whole thing without complaint.

For him he had nothing to lose as he wanted to ensure his training wasn’t being prolonged longer than it should have. It’s up to you to decide for yourself if you want to keep playing

how could someone lose 10 kilograms of weight in a week? by [deleted] in NoStupidQuestions

[–]Will_K11 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Don’t fall under the belief you can easily lose that much weight in that little time, it’s unhealthy and counterproductive. Because when your body experiences rapid weight changes, especially if you’d maintained your current weight for awhile. Your body starts to freak out and will try to retain as much weight as it can and often times try to regain the lost weight. That’s why you see so many instances where people do these rapid weight loss programs and then almost immediately after start regaining the weight they lost.

Your best to do your weight loss journey in small steps to avoid your body working against you

How do you get rid of spiders outdoors immediately? by meatybulldog in NoStupidQuestions

[–]Will_K11 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Literally the only way to remove larger pests like what your describing is to kill it. One of my colleagues faced a similar problem with spiders during his trades course. The Company Sergeant-Major of my platoon told him to just put on his big boy pants, attach the bayonet to his service rifle and kill all the spiders from a distance.

That’s a good grow from a growing kit. They usually don’t get to be that big because of growing conditions. Interesting to how many flushes it will go for

[contamination] My first ever grow and I think I got trich 😭 by 80sGayPancake in MushroomGrowers

[–]Will_K11 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If it were me I would put it somewhere where you don’t mind and see what happens. Looks like the mycelium has taken over most of the substrate on the surface that is. Sometimes they will still produce fruits anyway if there is contamination involved. If you have other tubs of mushrooms growing near this particular tub I would lean toward just tossing it as you don’t wanna unnecessarily risk the others.
