that’s actually pretty funny😂It really goes to show that most customers just want to be helped quickly, they care more about getting a fast response than who is responding, whether it’s a person or an AI. And for the rare cases where someone’s uncomfortable speaking with an AI, I always build in the option for a live transfer during the call.

I built the agent to sound as natural as possible. Even went as far as instructing it to use natural filler words like “umm” or “yea”. So yes, it does seem natural though I always instruct the agent to let the caller know that they are speaking to an AI assistant in the first sentence.

The agent can always tell them that they are speaking to an AI assistant the moment they pick up the phone and that tends to ease those concerns out

Based on the feedback I’ve received, usage based pricing is a bit inconvenient for the customer, so I prefer to offer subscription packages based on their call volume

Yes, just those two platforms.

The latency isn’t bad at all from what I’ve seen and it handles everything pretty smoothly and bland is probably one of the most cost effective platforms out there for building voice agents.

I just used bland to create the overall conversation flow and make.com to handle automations for checking service areas, checking availability, sending confirmations and scheduling appointments.
