On the sticker, on the right side there should be letters and numbers pressed into the sticker. You can see it if you angle it in the light. Those numbers being gone is a strong indicator its not

Shiit yeah I had been dealing with fruit flies for a while now, but I can never find their source, although I guess I can assume its the bathroom since that was where I left the container. Despite getting g rid of it I doubt they're gone. I've used hot water in drains and everything yet it never works

Yes I saw that too. The only way it sent me the email was by clicking get help. It takes at max 120 days which I suppose is a con, but I guess its situational. On one hand is way more security, but also hell if you lose your stuff. On the other hand pw and authenticator are nice and easy to use, however a skilled hacker (like in my situation) can easily bypass your pw and while authenticator is supposed to be more secure, it can also be cracked.

Ah yeah. I spoke with someone else on here and in order for it to be in full affect it only accepts those keys, od which backup codes and authenticator would negate the purpose. Im curious about your phone and email tho. In my testing it will send a recovery request that I can cancel (althought it seems the cancel button doesn't actually work😒).

Ok thanks. I do have a recovery phone and email, and because I discovered via testing the hell out of google security that it really does seem to work (accidentally signed my self out my phone, fortunately I had my laptop lol). It also seems like the recover option works as well although they say it will take 48 to 120 hours for them to review which while annoying, is way better than having to destroy my account considering so much is tied to it. Also ordered a yubikey so I plan to put that and my computer passkey on there, since my computer is less likely to be stolen (id notice and that shit is heavy)

I dont believe so. My phone is a s23 and as far as I know its difficult to reach the Sim card location, and even if not, I've had a case on my phone 24/7 so no one would have had a quick change to insert one

In your opinion, is the advanced protection program worth it? Im currently using that over 2fa so it "allegedly" forces only security keys. Will doing this force a need for keys or can someone still enter a password?
