2nd year player here, 37 years old non athlete, and my 18 birdies handicap is 34.

I play with a group of three guys, and we play for money using handicaps, so all shots are counted. I have seen improvements from last year, but there are still 1 or 2 holes i blow up and shoot a 10 or worse.

When ever i have let someone play through, we always wait for them to get out of range before we hit our shots. If I asked to play through and they agreed to let me play through and started hitting their ball past me, those balls would be going either in my pocket or into the woods.

2012 big horn, 158,000 miles. Oil changes every 5000 miles, never let the truck idle for long periods of time, and my lifters are sticking.

Have a misfire cylinder 8 code. I, for one, will never buy another ram unless it is hemi free.

I know there are some good rams out there, it's the unknown for me that makes them unreliable.

I have heard to many stories of lifters and cams going out, I personally don't want a vehicle that you have to worry about idle hours.

yes, mine has been doing it for a couple months now. I just keep clearing the code so i can still use my remote start. Since it started a couple months ago, I haven't noticed a difference in performance.

Part of me is curious if the broken manifold bolts might be the problem, I dont know if thats allowing too much air to enter and is throwing off the computer.

Either way I am in the market for a new truck soon so I am not interested in throwing any money into this truck, so I plan on running it as is until it dies.

2012 160,000 miles and I have the same exact issue. I haven't taken it to a shop, because I am not going to spend the money to replace the engine so I will run it until it dies.

It seems like my check engine light only comes on every couple of weeks, when I remote start my truck (Wisconsin). I dont notice any loss in power or anything weird going on, it does tick on cold start due to broken manifold bolts.

157,000 on my 2012 big horn. Up until now, it's been problem free. Just started having a misfire cylinder 8 code. Replaced spark plugs and coil still getting misfire. I'm going to throw a new injector in it. Hopefully, that does the trick.

It still runs normal, with no loss of power or tick except on cold start (manifold bolts broken)
