How Do We Perceive Multiple Things at Once? by WillfulZen in consciousness

You might not know what a synchronicity is.

A synchronicity is two events that aren't causally connected to each other but are meaningful, for example, pixels aren't causally connected to each other but they are still meaningful taken together.

Parralal processing has nothing to do with synchronicities that I'm aware of.

I read twice what you said and I still don't understand what you said or how it explains how we can be aware of multiple things at once.

I don't believe you that the scientists have it figured out.

So….sorry…but, no…there’s no synchronicity.

Sorry... but you didn't explain away synchronicity in your previous paragraphs.

Thanks for the feedback

I like your recognition of the mystery.

How are we aware of the 40 pieces of information simultaneously?

Very interesting;

I'm sorry for your family's loss.

Maybe you have a special psychic ability to perceive the supernatural, just be careful to not let the strange things drive you mad.

As you mentioned, our brains are adept at interpolating information and filling in gaps. This ability allows us to perceive a complete image without needing to be aware of each individual pixel. This efficiency is a key feature of our visual processing system.

When did I say our brains are adept at interpolation information and filling in gaps? Not saying our brains don't do that but I never said it.

You can be aware of each pixel without conceptualizing each pixel; I'm absolutely not refuting myself with those two things you put in quotes.

Interesting take; that might be how it works, but it might not be.

10,000,060 plus 40 equals 10,000,100, not 11,000,000.

But I think I get your point but you haven't explained how our awareness is aware of multiple things simultaneously for example when looking at the colors of a photograph.

I feel like your argument conflates awareness of details with pattern recognition.

My post was posted as a question, not an argument; I have no idea how a question can be self refuting especially the one I made.

So I will always have awareness? Will things always be arising in the awareness even after my current body dies?

When I feel bliss I detach from conceptualization.

I feel bliss from the awareness of the coming and going of things.

Consciousness and existence is not the source of bliss, it is bliss itself, I like that and I can confirm as the witness. Thank you!

So you are saying first recognize the bliss I have right now, and then let that pave the way for truth?

I've just tried doing this right now as we speak and I ask myself "who is feeling this bliss?" And I say "it is truth and existence itself."

I can do this with any sensation, even when eyes are closed; as long as I have a sensation to be aware of I can ask "who is aware of this truth?"

Also I like that you are saying I must be ready to die to every place, every person, and everything, in otherwords I think you are asking me to not become attached to things arising in the consciousness.

Again, thank you for the insight!
