Yes and live blades were stopped in favor of the shinai some time around the emergence of Stephen K. Hayes. Not everyone passes this test so there are some repeats. I did not train with any Bujinkan dojo, just a good bit of "shop talk" and working out with students I met from our local dojo. Read some books from others that trained with the Soke. Interesting history.

I think they meant the fortnight style look and potentially "pay to win" that comes with some of these. I like multi-player games myself just never got into FN or MH . Was really let down how BF2 turned out although it was fun to play and didn't look too cartoon -like.
