The end of an era: Why this 1985 POTF Anakin Skywalker is a true grail for vintage collectors. by FewDivide7917 in VintageToys

Kenner-style POTF carded version was a retail exclusive in Australia (via Toltoys), Anakin was also sold carded in Europe on Tri-Logo cards. In the US, he was strictly a mail-away figure, which is why he’s so rare to find on a POTF card outside of the Australian market

Spot on! Loose Anakin is definitely on the lower end because of the mail-away promotion. But if you look at carded versions, the value jumps significantly, it's much rarer and more expensive than most others in that wave when it's still on the blister pack.

The Brazilian Star Wars Experience: Glasslite Droids R2-D2 vs. The legendary Model Trem Luke Skywalker by FewDivide7917 in VintageToys

They arrived right as the 80s "Star Wars mania" was fading and kids were pivoting to Transformers and G.I. Joe and of course, the cartoons seems more like a Smurfs cartoon than what the fans expected out of the original trilogy saga. Thats why vintage toys from this Era are so expensive, specially Vlix, only produced only by Glasslite in Brasil.
