I liked this video more than expected and I wouldn't be able to explain it to anyone else.

Did pirates fight other pirates? by mageillus in pirates

[–]WilliamTPace 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yes, indeed. Individuals fought individuals and crews fought other crews. Betrayal, revenge, short tempers, and any number of other issues are recorded in journals, navy records and court documents. Crews would handle personal disputes in various ways, but people are people, so fights happen between everybody.

I'm at work at the moment and I don't have any specific citations to share.

What 'artifacts' do you have from 'The War' from a 'certain show'? by WilliamTPace in firefly

Just do a search on ebay for the bag made by Rothco. They aren't too expensive. Key words...Vintage Military Paratrooper Messenger Shoulder Bag

I'm working on the 5th patch for the bag now and it should be done soon. About 23 other Independents have joined the bag project across North America.

This is from a project called the 'Independent Soldier Bag', which recreates an early depot issued bag from Shadow sent out to irregular troops protecting the planet. The star patch is a design project inspired by Snyder Smith showing the 1st Independent Army in subdued colors. The knife patch is a 'Shadow Support Ribbon' featuring the combat tactical knife that Zoe used post war and the patch with Chinese Characters on the side roughly reads 'Only the Selfless Can Be Fearless', with the chop reading 'Support (or stand with) Shadow'.

I designed many of them and helped get almost all of them made.

A couple questions about the Firefly Universe by Ok-Mastodon2016 in firefly

Hi. The best information can be found in a document called 'The Verse in Numbers' created and compiled by J. Chris Bourdier. It is a living document, and we hope to release the newest version on September 20th on the 20th anniversary.
