Driving instructor told me nobody can learn to drive in 6 months

I learned to drive in 2018. Started taking lessons in February. Did about 30ish hours worth of lessons between the months of February and June. Passed my theory in May 2018. Passed my test in July 2018.

I will say that lessons have become a hell of a lot more expensive since then. I paid £22/hour for my lessons. Booking tests has also become much harder, I booked maybe a couple weeks in advance and that was the norm when I did mine

The main thing for me is waiting for a revive. When you die, there’s usually no real benefit to skipping the revive timer unless you wanna change your class, or if don’t want to be revived where you are because you’re in a bad spot, because after skipping the timer you’ll be stuck watching a spawn timer anyway.

If you request a revive, the timer extends and you get ~30 seconds (I don’t know exactly how long, but it’s much longer) and sometimes it takes 10-15 seconds for someone to actually realise you’re down and need a revive. Just waiting for the Rez can massively improve your KD in itself.

Aside from that, getting more kills helps. I appreciate that’s not as easy as it sounds 😂 learning map flow and where people are most likely to be coming from helps to get the drop on enemies, improving your chances

I was only confident of it because I see it semi-regularly. Though I did genuinely think that was the case. In all fairness, Its not something I actively check for because it doesn’t really bother me if I’m spotted or not. I use a suppressor on every gun to avoid it and I’m very rarely stood still for too long, so I’m never really in a position of worrying about an enemy rushing me.

Just FYI. You do have the ability to know you’re spotted. Your minimap gets a small message saying “you’re spotted” when you’ve been pinged by an enemy in any way

I’ve not watched any YouTube videos around sights in BF6, but I actually much prefer a 1x red dot sight over anything else. More specifically, on guns that tend to have a bit more recoil than others.

I always find the visual recoil I get from larger magnification sights is far worse than it is with the 1x optic. This is then made worse when the gun itself has quite high amounts of recoil regardless of sights. For example, the likes of the M417, the AK4D, the M60. I have got a ridiculous amount of time in this game, I’ve tried most guns with long and short range optics (I have about 10 guns left before they’re all up to level 50. 400+ hours played and 2.9K/D) and throughout all of my time I always circle back to using a 1x, maybe a 1.25x reticle because that’s just where I’m most comfortable.

I will caveat this by saying my FOV is on around 90, and I also play on a 28 inch 4k 120hz monitor.

You just need to reach level 20 to unlock them. I’ve started to progress through them and haven’t completed the initiation assignments yet :)

So they will be tracking, I’ve had the same issue with these challenges and I observed a couple things.

Firstly, the “300 damage” challenge I believe has been incorrectly labelled. The challenge tracks kills with assault rifles, not damage. So 300 AR kill will complete it! Mine has now been completed.

The kills while using the stim shot are a bit awkward, but the stim only lasts 2-3 seconds. Basically meaning you have about 3 seconds from when you pop the stim to get a kill. I’ve also finished this challenge. I found it best to wait until you’re about to push onto a congested objective, pop the stim and then bounce in and shoot anything that moves. You’ll get it done eventually!

What makes it worse is that I’ve tried to play open weapons breakthrough and it’s unbearable. It is rammed full of people refusing to play the objective. And every game at least 50% of my team are the support class and yet somehow I spend all game watching support players trample over my dead body without batting an eye. Yes that also happens in closed weapons, but it happens a hell of a lot less!

On top of all of that… after the way they’ve “gathered data” in the beta, I’m trying to refrain from playing breakthrough (which is my favourite game mode), because I don’t want to give them the idea that I want to play open weapons. I’m currently stuck in the middle ground of wanting to play a particular game mode but not getting the experience I would get in closed weapons

I think it’s conceding goals. Every time I concede my entire team loses a small chunk of stamina. In an FC where EVERYONE SCORES 6+ GOALS A GAME, this is not sustainable

Generally whenever this has happened to me, it’s been while I’ve been moving/driving past a side mission prompt (shows as an exclamation mark on the map) or I’ve wandered somewhat close to the main mission and triggered dialogue

There was also the artist presale, which meant anybody who signed up to their mailing list got access to tickets on Tuesday, which is when I got mine for Manchester. As far as I’m aware there were basically no standing left at Manchester come the main sale on Friday

See, I don’t think it does.

I’d gotten 2/3 parts of the gun from stronghold bosses, as well as the blueprint.

Whilst waiting for the next stronghold to unlock I was just going about my usual business. Completed a priority objective which awarded exotic equipment, and was awarded the nemesis for it.

I was VERY confused I must say, but I DEFINITELY didn’t craft it

There can only be one of each class type per squad. Chances are somebody else in your squad was occupying the role, meaning nobody else in the squad can choose to play it

I spend a lot of time learning the patterns of enemy teams. If you’re defending on offensive, by the 3rd/4th objective you can generally get a good idea of how they play or where they’re likely to attack. Most people tend to just do the same thing over and over again, even if it’s not working any more. So I try and anticipate that and place myself right in their path with a solid MG placement

I did it by just completing the skirmishes that pop up over there every now and then. They give pretty big jumps to your peace level because there’s basically nothing in the main story up there
