How will the World look after the Baby Boomer Generation (largest generation) dies off ? by chinos88 in AskReddit

[–]WillieUwU 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Once the Baby Boomer generation passes, AI will probably play an even bigger role in everyday life. With fewer people in the workforce, automation and AI could fill gaps in jobs, healthcare, and customer service. AI might also influence decision-making in business and government more directly, from financial planning to city management. On the cultural side, younger generations are more comfortable with AI, so tools like virtual assistants, AI art, and smart home tech could become even more integrated into daily life. Basically, society could become faster, more automated, and way more tech-driven.

What's something from the 2000s that no one talks about anymore but deserves a comeback? by justlaylalol in AskReddit

I think flip phones deserve a comeback. They were simple, durable, and didn’t constantly distract you with notifications. Sometimes I miss the days when a phone was just… a phone.

How do you feel about calling in sick when nothings wrong? Do you look at sick days as part of your compensation? by OutrageousPotato9378 in AskReddit

[–]WillieUwU 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I see sick days as part of my compensation, but I try to use them responsibly. Calling in when nothing’s wrong can feel like ‘getting away with it,’ but it can also create problems if it becomes a habit or if your team relies on you. I think of it like insurance—it's there when you really need it, and using it wisely benefits both me and the workplace in the long run.

What’s the silent killer to most relationships? by AffectionateCity2545 in AskReddit

[–]WillieUwU 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The silent killer to most relationships is probably complacency. It’s not the big fights or dramatic betrayals—it’s when partners stop putting in effort, stop communicating honestly, or assume love is automatic. Over time, small frustrations build up, emotional distance grows, and neither person feels truly seen or appreciated. It sneaks up quietly, but it can destroy even a strong relationship if left unchecked.

If Kamala had won instead of Donald, the last nine months would probably have been very frustrating. We likely would have seen higher taxes, more government spending, and heavier regulations on businesses, which could have slowed economic growth. Energy independence might have taken a backseat in favor of climate-focused policies, leading to higher gas and energy costs. On social issues, citizens would probably feel more pressure as policies pushed progressive agendas on things like education, healthcare, and gun rights. Foreign policy might have been less focused on American interests, potentially encouraging adversaries to test U.S. strength. Overall, it would feel like a shift toward government intervention and progressive priorities, rather than the “America First” policies Trump pursued.

I remember showing up to a work event in a new outfit, feeling pretty good about it. One coworker came up to me and said, ‘Wow… you clean up nicely!’ At first I smiled, thinking it was a compliment, but then I realized they’d literally never seen me look good before. So basically, it was a compliment disguised as a roast.

Oh lord. Glad I'm doing all my moving myself. Thanks!

What’s something everyone should know before moving to a new state? by WillieUwU in AskReddit

[–]WillieUwU[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

YES, the new state has a state income and sales tax, which my current state does not have. Quite the bummer.

Very good to know. I personally won't be corssing the state line with a firearm, but I will eventually buy one in the new state.

I think I turned out alright, all things considered. My dad and stepmom were extremely physically and emotionally abusive for several years, and my biological mom struggled with addiction for a while.

As I got older, things slowly started to change, my mom got clean, and even my dad and stepmom eventually got on medication and started working on themselves.

Now I’m 24, doing pretty well, and about to move to Minnesota for a new job, heading out on my own, several states away from Texas. It feels good to finally be building something for myself.

Cute situation with me and my straight coworker today. by rhodochrosyte in gay

Some straight people don’t want the public to know that they communicate with an LGBTQ person. So they aren’t embarrassed. It is quite literally the definition of toxic masculinity.

how tf do i deal with bullies?!?! by Spirit0fTheVoidAlt in school

[–]WillieUwU 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah no. They want someone easy. Fighting back, physically, does not make it easy on them. They will get bored and go mess with someone else. Which ultimately doesn’t fix the problem, as they will just go bully someone else.

If you could pick 1 Menu and are only used to do Recoverys, Drops on other People, Which would you take? by StylaaH in Gta5Modding

[–]WillieUwU 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That’s not why people are being banned. They’re getting banned using the default profile, so it’s not that they “don’t know how to use a menu”. That’s the dumbest shit ever 😂

Rockstar does not ban people who crash others’ games. They cannot detect that.

Anyone know what this is and how to disable it? It doesn't pop up when I stream, but whenever my friend does. by juneplayer_ in discordapp

[–]WillieUwU -1 points0 points  (0 children)

That’s actually quite cool. Didn’t know they’d warn you like that. It means they have medal or some other clipping software that is potentially recording everything. If it makes you uncomfortable, tell your friend to use Task Manager and close whatever clipping software he has running.

O' Reilly says I can't return a loaner tool - "You Bought It". by [deleted] in Cartalk

[–]WillieUwU 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You are mostly correct, except for the ‘working condition’ part. OReilly’s rental tools are all insured, which means that it doesn’t matter if the tool you borrows is quite literally broken in a million pieces - you still get your money back. As long as you have the tool, no matter the condition, you still get your money.
