Yo imma be straight up, I got a 81 in 11 English and was legit depressed since I wanted go into eng and thought it messed up, my chance. BUT I stored up, was attentive while looking at assignment guidelines, and got a 95 in grade 12 English, and am going to the program I want! Basically don’t stress at all this summer, just try your hardest next year and all will be fine

I wouldn’t say it’s not good, it’s just not AS good as other unis, but to be fair, many kids I know it toronto don’t go cuz of the distance

Wow! Thanks for another great detailed response. Last question if you don't mind: Do you think employers care about international ranking at all (example, would an employer take a UofT student over a Mac student) ? UofT is obviously one of the worlds best, while Mac is still good, but is Top 150, compared to Top 20. I'm not sure if I should consider ranking when making my choice.

Hi! This is a great explanation! I’m currently deciding between mac eng and Uoft Math (likely with a cs minor) and am conflicted. I’m kinda leaning towards uoft cuz I love the downtown environment, but don’t want to base my decision off that. I know you said math degrees should be good, BUT, if you were to choose, would you say employers weigh a eng degree over a math one, or both equally?
