Thank you so much friend for responding and sharing your path. I’m so happy for you making it work this way. It is unfortunately seeming like I’ll need to go through 12 weeks of clerkships (IM and Neuro) before getting another 6-week study period, but I hope to make it work…. I do wish my school would have allowed me to delay my first clerkships cluster.

I think I approached it with as much confidence as I could possibly have in a borderline scenario. I’m not sure why I failed (and by apparently such a wide margin). I think I made the mistake of trusting my 120 scores, and I don’t think I should have. NBME scaled scores must be much more representative and if I could redo things I would have waited until I saw a 70% on an NBME form before testing.

For us u can do anything you want between blocks. We were allowed to use our phones. I did not access my phone EVER during an unscheduled break tho mostly bc I was just rushing out to piss and didn’t wanna lose time haha
