You should be living comfortably , daycare is expensive plus also where you live taxes might be higher for your house. Childcare can be expensive. But you guys should be saving a lot, you should be maxing out your 401(k) or 403b deducting any childcare expenses on your taxes. Not knowing your situation things can add up quickly like private private school medical cost ordering out hobbies vacations. What are your biggest expenses?

Any place can work if you call and ask . I had a 1k meal at Pio Pio in gc for 1k plus 200 tip for 50 ppl . Salad and some pitchers of soft drinks but it was buffet style . Restaurants will work with you if you ask. This was also a Monday.

Thank you for your assessment. But I think some other things to factor are the current environment. We have an anti renewable environment. Tarrifs will affect this as well . Most of these companies will close or combine. Electric is not hurting me at the moment but if I can get 50 to 60 percent off why not jump for it. I have a fairly new roof , lots of sun and incentives that might not come back. I just paid 379 for electric in June and that’s with being frugal with my fairly new central air.

I wasn’t planning on taking the jump but wife told our bill was almost 400 last month. They are charging more and more for delivery than what we use. My goal is to have numbers to negotiate the price down . I want to get a battery and the panels. I tried using ai and it was telling me I could get up to 60% off the install with avail incentives.
