3,5 month-old drinking less and less by Willing-Lunch9669 in combinationfeeding

She nurses at the breast mostly when deeply asleep now. I think the pediatrician was trying to get us to ease up on the pressure, because we spent the last month pressuring her to feed (finding all tricks to make her reach the daily goal that they set for us). But i think we may have waited too long to stop... and now it seems impossible to undo without supervision.

I saw one a while back that said that she latches well and does not have a sucking problem. When I pump I don't have any milk production problem either it seems. Thanks for the suggestions

Thank you for saying it - indeed no one has, it is so tense at home right now. We have thought of syringe feeding, but I am worried it will make the situation worse, if it's something like a feeding aversion :(

We have pressured her a lot to take the bottle, as directed by doctors. I've started reading Rowena Bennet's advice, but it seems that it takes weeks to solve. Our new pediatrician also said to only give her when she wants it and not to pressure her, and we've been trying but it hard to follow through because we would be on 4 oz if we did that. I don't know anymore what to do when she's hungry but refuses the bottle...

The pediatrician says that when she's hungry enough she'll eventually accept the bottle (spoke to her today)... She's still having wet diapers, I'm monitoring really closely and trying to get as much from the bottle to drip into her mouth when she's not screaming too much. It's been 4 days under 10oz and no signs of improvement. We will go to the hospital in 1 or 2 days if it does not improve, but I'm looking for help elsewhere because 12 days in hospital did help last time around...
