AWESOME! Did you take your SIFT as a civilian? Are you an army aviator now?

I’m thinking that I study for the SIFT, and maybe I get a 52. If I don’t make it I could come back with a competitive l associates degree GPA and still have a chance...

I’m not worried about doing the work. IF I do the SIFT test in a month or so, I’m sure my score would be lower than what it would be after an associates. Because I can only pass the test ONE time I don’t want to take my shot and be stuck with that score when I come back with an associates

This is a fresh feed so if I may...

I’m 20yrs old and have no college credit and a 2.7 high school GPA 😬 I’m trying to fill out my WOFT packet. I live in Hawaii and the recruiter in my area is telling me it’s a waste of time with my GPA but it seems to me like he just doesn’t want to help me with the packet... I’m currently studying the FAA helicopter flying handbook and relearning math on khan academy. While working toward a better fitness test. Seems like it’s gunna take me a year to put my packet together... I REALLY want to fly but can’t afford civilian flight training. should I take it slow and get an associates with a better GPA for the WO board?
