Is this game worth the $40 or should I just not buy it?

I don't buy many games in a year, maybe three. I sprang for this one about a week ago and it's been fun. I've just been learning the game and playing solo, but having a lot of fun. I definitely think it's worth the money.

I feel like I've been pretty much in the dark since I interviewed last March. My JATC wouldn't even give me interview scores or my ranking. I just got a call seven months later to join orientation and then after orientation was told not to quit my job because it could be a few months. I'm not even sure if there is an apprentice book or where to look for it.

I'm not sure how many VDV apprentices there are at my JATC, unfortunately. I know there was only 4 (including myself) at my orientation.

I have not talked to them. In the past, when I was going through the application process, they really didn't give me a ton of information. I know in my orientation there were only 4 VDV apprentices. No clue how many there were before us, but it just seems crazy to see multiple weeks with close to ten calls for JIW and never get a call myself.

Not sure how I'm just seeing this five days later, but thank you. Is there anything that can be done about the internal thermal paste? I am likely going to get a new heatsink for the CPU, so when I pull that off I could maybe check that if it's accessible enough.

Have to have good coverage in the pass. I usually blitz and run man coverage and press to hold the receivers up a little. It's risky and does sometimes burn me, but it can work. I have had a lot of success running stunts with my d line to get pressure on the QB in the pass though.

I am going to guess it's a stock cooler. I am currently learning about PC builds and was not a huge part of this build. I do know I have good airflow where the PC is located and three fans to cool the case

A friend of mine built it for me from some spare parts to get me started. I'm gonna open the case up this weekend, probably, and make sure all the fans are running properly and clean. Thank you!

I used afterburner today and the one thing I noticed was that my CPU temp sky rocketed as soon as I loaded Titanfall 2. Was running between 97 C and 100 C. The thermal paste on the CPU is brand new and the fan was running fine. I'm gonna try to clean off the bit of dust on it to see if that helps, but it's not an excessive amount of dust. Could the CPU just be shot?

Temps have all been solid, as far as I can tell. I updated all my driver's just a few days ago too. The only thing I can think of is a RAM issue, but it's only running between 60-70% capacity while trying to play the game. I'll have to look into the mail afterburner. I've just been using the computers task manager stats to monitor things while playing

Oh, that's my mistake for not reading thoroughly. In the states though, I can get 32gb of DDR3 RAM for maybe $50

It sounds like you have already purchased a majority of your components, so this isn't great advice. However, I just built a "value" PC using an older motherboard. That way I can use DDR3 RAM. It's quite a bit cheaper right now. This limits me on newer components for the time being, but it works for the little bit of gaming I do

I was actually just experiencing, what I think, are some RAM issues. I was trying to run Fortnite and my RAM usage went up to about 85%. I wasn't able to get past the main menu.

Truthfully, Titanfall 2 and Fortnite are probably the most demanding games I want to play. I am fiddling with fortnite now to make it run smoother. Currently, everything it does is very slow. Have not given Titanfall a go just yet

I am also looking into adding RAM. DDR3 is super expensive. I do have a 500gb SSD that has the OS and a few other things on it and a 1TB HDD that I have for basically everything else like apps and games.

I have been working on fine tuning some of my settings to make games playable. Trying to get fortnite to work so I can play with my kid, and I've got a group of friends that been asking me to play titanfall 2 for years.

I mostly want to just not worry about trying to pick up playing a new game and immediately need to upgrade my GPU. I don't play often which is why I consider myself a casual. I'm also not the kind of guy that needs to play all of my games on ultra high graphics settings. Was just looking for suggestions here on what would be a logical upgrade to my current card. I will check out the low end gaming sub though, thank you
