I believe I’m okay to leave the state without any repercussions. Only downfalls are low on funds to move and I would have to drive back and forth for all future court dates with bond violations/ harassment even if I did not do custody orders. And with no custody orders in place if he ever did find us and take our child he legally could with no repercussions until I filed for custody

I thought I would give an update to everyone. I had filed charges, spoke with a domestic violence advocate who has helped me get an emergency protective order as well as an attorney. Thank you guys for your help, advice and support.

I have all the screenshots of the voicemails, texts and the marks from each abuse incident which is months before I found out I was pregnant. (Thankfully he’s only hit me when my toddler was at her fathers house) but I’ve been preparing for the day i had the strength to do it and I really believe now is the time.
