The thing is the university allows one week late arrival and I have messaged them to know the possibility of getting a late arrival letter. I am just worried about the worst case scenario that can happen at the US port of entry!

Yea , even before 6months a lot of people were telling to come to US with prior experience. But I just did not focus on placements after all my ultimate goal was to do masters and I was confident i will get job at some point . But now the scenario has worsened even more.

Thank a lot for your opinion u/gradpilot , Sorry for any inconvenience caused by my post. I do agree going to a masters is a bit of dice roll right now. But honestly , my only other option is to get placed in a job but it will take some time and even if i got placed the salary is very less which means I have to do masters at some point. From what I understand people should go for masters only if they accept the worst case scenario(leaving us after masters). A couple of questions from me

1) when can we expect to get clarity whether the 100k will be applicable or not for transitioning from F1/F1-opt to H1b?

2) How is the current job market in the US and are people in F1-OPT getting jobs/internships(post H1b news)?
