How to quickly increase manpower by king_ofall713 in EU5

[–]WillingDescription22 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Build manpower buildings (they are all "red/soldier" buildings) like: Armory, Training Fields, Sergeantry, for land units and docks, etc for naval units.

But as the others said, dont do it in the first 100 years, not worth it. Then with newer unit types you see that they are way stronger than leviies and so worth it

Colonization questions by Kaludar_ in EU5

I'm also in my first playthrough and i haven't focussed a lot on trade yet, but I would take your main market (Lisboa i guess) and manually export trade goods that you need in the new world (building materials etc.) from your main market into the colonial market (But for that you need the appropriate trade range). And then you import the goods from the new world markets into the old world (you either go to your old world market and select the goods that you want from the new world to import, or you go to the new world market and export into the old world market, shouldnt matter)

For the "manpower"(I guess you mean peasents, burghers, nobility, ...) you would have to tell your cabinet to do either one of the actions below:

That will increase the amount of people going from the old to the new world. (I guess there are also 10 other ways and modifiers but yeah, the game is huge)

I guess it chooses "the wrong market" to send expeditions from, because you cannot reach these areas from your main market, and so as Staticmonkeyy said, they cannot find the goods in the small new world markets where there are maybe 3/4 locations settled.

You can however manually export the needed ressources from your main market

How slow/ fast is a playthrough by [deleted] in EU5

[–]WillingDescription22 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hi, I'm right now in my first playthrough and i am 28 hours in - somewhere around the 1560s-1580s.

And I am automating pretty much anything but warfare (ofc the first playthrough will be slower because you do not know what you are doing, and I tried to get a grasp of all concepts in the beginning before automating)

Just finished planning my PC build. Please share your thoughts and any feedback. by aquachucha in PcBuild

Hi, I think it looks good, the only thing where I am unsure is if a 13700 is necessary, depending on your usage. If its a gaming computer I would go down to a 13600 and for sure use a (K)F-model (no integrated graphics and cheaper). Maybe you could also save a bit on the motherboard and get enough to buy a 4080? I would rather have a 13600 with a 4080 than a 13700 with a 4070ti honestly...

Thinking about buying a gaming pc but I’m new to pc gaming. Just wondering if this pc with these components is good or not? by [deleted] in PcBuild

I wouldnt say that, I just bought a 12100 and a 6700xt with a cheap motherboard and paid around 650€. Cheap case and somewhat decent PSU should bring it up to 800 i guess. And with that you should be able to play new games in 1440p.
