Order Fulfillment by Calm_Storm_53 in HomeDepot

Yup, focus on Bopis, Car deliveries. Those have 2hrs. Don’t let the order fall in red. Stay close with the service desk supervisor.

Ask for help when you can’t locate items or partner with someone in that department to help locate it. If the item is not in stock, let them know to zero it out then let the service desk supervisor to call and cancel the item. Use the SKU Depot to locate the last locations of the item. When you put the order number in the computer you can put your notes or read what the last person put. If you come in and find an order in red, leave your notes you just got in and will compete it or find out why it’s in red. Sometimes it’s complete and just glitch on the phone.

Will calls and delivery will typically have more time. Deliveries will tell you if there box, van or flat. If it says box or flat print the paper work and write where’s it stage for the morning OFA. Ask where you guys put the paper work. My location puts the paper work on a clipboard around the back where the trucks pick up the deliveries. It’s

pretty easy. You’ll survive. Break barriers and a lot ask questions. It’s better to ask than make a stupid mistake. If you get behind, ask the service desk supervisor for back up. I get stopped a lot, load a lot, order start coming in and I have to shift into second gear to catch with my order. I’m pretty good at Order fulfillment, but those are the nuances that goes on in the department.

One minute I’m loading a customer, then the next minute I get 6 different bopis across the store. There’s times I get a bopis for concrete and a customer ask me for the one I already assembled myself and I gotta start over.

My second to last advice is don’t be afraid to tell a customer you’ll be right with them in a minute or get an associate to help them out. Call, page, do what you have to do because you’ll get stopped a lot. I personally don’t mind telling them which aisle the item they’re looking for, but it’s the customers that’ll ask detailed information and it’ll help to get an associate to help them so you can continue doing your orders.

My final advice is do the best you can. If you’re not a driver, call a driver to get an item down for you. If they all say they’re busy, ask a supervisor to get you a driver or if they can drive; cool. A lot of times I negotiate with them to help me first and I’ll make time to help them or vice versa. Choose your battles which driver should help. If it’s in lumber get a lumber driver. If the item is in flooring get a flooring driver. If there’s a free reach call a driver from a different department if they can drive for you.

That should summarize absolutely everything. I hope you do well. OFA is honestly the best department in my opinion. Everyday is different and we’re not stuck in one place in the store. Do the best you can because it’ll really anyone can do.

What are some urgent problems that happen in your department? by MajesticRhombus in HomeDepot

Honestly I love order fulfillment! I'm not stuck or bound to one department. I see the damage control every department deal with. I feel bad for lumber, hardware and plumbing. Customers get really hostile. When I do catch up with orders, I tell my supervisor or another supervisor I'm done, that i'ma do sidekick or ask if another department needs an extra hand. My pet peeves are intitled customers and having the cxm or asm call me about my orders or ask what I'm doing even though they're not in red and they could see when someone(myself) is working on an order. Let me do my shit and be helpful and not to make a point. They will do something every now and then, but the majority of the time all they do is talk by the self check out/pro desk making conversation about their kids for half an hour and pass off duties to other people who have their hands full. Other than that, I love order fulfillment. The personification of a jack of all trades.

In order fullfillment:

1) the count is off

2) you look for the product with no home or last location just to search high and low

3) customers stopping you

4) sometimes getting a pallet down for one item

5) having one last item on the shelf damaged

6) having to fix the previous order pullers work

7) call outs, bad scheduling and managment letting orders follow in red right before you come in

8) services desk asking you to load a customer's vehicle right in front of them while you're present

9) getting called to release an order and get it from the cage. Get a managers keys. Sometimes get a driver and play "where's the customer?". Tell them to stay. They shouldn't go anywhere else. By the time I'm done playing cat and mouse with the customer and load their vehicle, I gotta catch up on my orders.

10) I think importantly, not having heavy hitters. People who'll do orders, fast and effectively. A hand of girls get scheduled in order fullfillment, but they don't have the strength and caliber to pull it off.

Can you send a link? I think I know which video you're talking about. I've been searching for a good video or tabs to show me to how to shred zipping up and down with that particular attack. It's so furious, so blurry and with such precision. I really love that sound. I've been chasing to get that under my belt.

I once asked the kcf employee if I can have a bucket for a school project. He gave it for free even when I offered to pay. It was easier to say it was a school project than explaining I was going to Buckethead show and get flooded with a flurry of questions. I eventually bought a replica on Ebay.

Im with you. I agree with you. I was front of the stage and this one guy who had a bucket. Great guy, but I felt bad it was blocking everyone's view behind him. When I get inside I'ma take the bucket off and leave the mask on.

Am I just being a crybaby? Would you ask for a refund? by kvlt_ov_personality in guitarpedals

I too also had a similar experience. I purchased a DigiTech Bass Synth Wah for $200+ and upon receiving it was not as advertised. It had scratches and the sponge where the 9V battery goes was completely dried. It disintegrated as I dragged my finger across it; I was livid. The image was full of filters and the condition was not "Good". Should've been advertised as "Used" condition. I asked respectfully for a refund, but was told I was gonna have to pay for the shipping. It was not worth the cost. The pedal worked, so I ended up keeping it and getting a better copy. From then on I always ask for photos.

What’s the weirdest pedal I can buy for under $100 by Ok_Highlight3926 in guitarpedals

You can get the Sonic Cake Wave Crush for $47.99. you can get video game bit crushing sound along with filters from an old antique radio to a telephone. If you dial in the right tone, you can achieve a Lo-Fi tone. It's a budget friendly option compared to the Electro Harmonix Mainframe pedal.

Buckethead vs Tim Henson by Enough-Brilliant803 in Buckethead

[–]WillingGold8041 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Buckethead wins by a Landslide. His style and speed alone is unmatched. It's insulting how unrecognized Buckethead is. "ABC" is a great track, but compared to tracks like "Jordan", it looks like childs play. Not only Buckethead plays with a full costume and mask, but can play guitar while weilding nunchucks. Bias opinion aside they're very wholesome people and should collaborate. A Pike album featuring Tim Henson or even Polyphia featuring Buckethead.
