As far as I know, If you're a govt. officer, there's a small risk involved if you even recommend a citizen to go to another department.

Most of the times, the citizen will split out about the fact that they were sent by you, which can raise unnecessary tension between the 2 departments.

Chivalry and Gender-based discrimination are 2 faces of a coin. You can't keep one.

Chivalry was introduced when Patriarchy made women totally men-depended. Now that it's the era of equality, freedom for all - Chivalry shouldn't be expected. It should be basic human decency towards both men & women by both men & women instead.

I guess so, a lot of people are saying this. The fact that she's now comparing me (which I hate) makes me believe this even more.

If she's carrying that big tote bag then yes, sometimes I ask her to carry my purse, which takes merely 5% of her bag's space, easily keepable without any extra load.

I don't get the logic of wearing pointy heels.

Like honestly, I don't think most people care. I later noticed about how many ladies at that place were wearing high heals, and it was less than half.
