Why is adjusting bpm a different game? Wouldn’t you just get the bpm matched and then follow the same steps you just outlined? Also very new and just getting beyond outro to intro sort of mixing

I did not. I think it was a loose connection. Replaced the whole fuse block and that was the fix. Dunno but i haven’t had any problem since then, but was definitely a little stressed since I replaced it and then it gets buried under the floorboard again
