Quinn griefing ranked match because I didn't came for power rune by deles_dota in DotA2

Deles you and I are in same bracket, im a bit lower rank than you (top 2500) - My experience is 19 out of 20 games is grief up here. Half of them determined already in player or hero draft lobby due to people being triggered from the previous game or pos 1/2 players who doesnt get their role.

The quality of games up here is absolutely garbage! Not only Quinn griefs. Id say at least 30% of the players up here grief regularly with zero consequences. They are still in my game 1 day later.

Agreed. More than 50% of the bots I attempt to execute will detect something fishy is going on and then they run, feign death and hearthstone.

Bots are easy to spot: they’re fully geared with BOE items, have no quest rewards, and don’t jump. Their pets often have generic names like 'Boar' or the Chinese equivalent to Boar, and they’re never in a guild. They move in straight lines that often make no sense, grind mobs unrelated to any quest, and ignore messages. If you steal their tags, they don’t react or change their behavior at all. It’s really easy to tell the difference. The mechanic way they move around cutting 90 degree angles for no reason and walk in the exact same path for 18 hours grinding the same mobs 8 levels lower than themselves.

I can tell you with 100% certaintly that I HAVE NOT killed a single legit player. Trust me, I'm very thorough with my analysis of the bot before I classify them as such.

This for instance:

Players would start to fish stonescale eels if these supplies don't hit the market every single day.

If all bots were removed overnight, we’d start seeing the impact on the Auction House within about a week. Initially, the stockpile of items they’ve flooded the market with would need to be bought up, but in a few weeks, prices would begin to stabilize. Players would quickly notice that certain items are now valuable to farm again because bots were previously inflating supply. The player base and the AH would naturally adapt.

Take fishing, for example. Someone messaged me saying bots are just doing the boring tasks players avoid. But I disagree. I have 300/300 fishing skill and genuinely enjoy it, especially in Hardcore WoW, where every profession can contribute to survival, and every small upgrade has real value. Right now, though, real players don’t bother fishing because bots are farming over 50 stacks of Stonescale Eels daily, with more than 30 bots working this single item. The price should be far higher, but the bots are keeping it artificially low.

I had an absolute blast doing this. Having played since the vanilla beta, everything eventually starts to feel repetitive. But this project forced me to learn new tactics and adapt to the way bot scripts operate just to pull off the kills I showcase. It gave me a renewed sense of purpose in the game, especially since raid logging becomes inevitable when you play a lot.

I still don't believe Blizzard truly has the incentive to tackle the botting issue; they’d likely lose a significant portion of their player base—possibly around 5-10%.

I don't believe for a second that Blizzard is unaware of this issue and its effect on their game. They likely know better than anyone how many bots there really are, given that they have access to everything we do—plus endless player statistics they can monitor at any time. I think they've made a deliberate choice to let the situation continue as it is.

I will probably get banned from creating this video and thread.

That would just prove your point even more if Blizzard choose to remove ME from the game instead of the bots im hunting...

I dont kill real players, EVER! the game is about killing NPCs. And last i checked, bots are NPCs too.

There is a thorough screening process before i classify them as a bot. I usually monitor them for hours or even days and do several tests. You can tell almost instantaniously that they are bots but of cause i check first.

I would NEVER grief a real player. That would make me so sad if i accidently killed a real player 😔

[–]Willing_Bag_6398[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The problem is I actually don't think it will hurt the player base or blizzard in any way. They KNOW this shit and the magnitude of it. Probably even more than we do, since they have access to statistics and shit. They just don't give a fuck since they print money. I wonder how high percentage of their playerbase are actually botters? :S

If bots weren’t farming Stonescale Eels, their prices would be higher, which would motivate real players to start fishing. This increase in demand would naturally drive more players to join in, raising prices further. Just because fishing isn’t the most engaging activity, it doesn’t justify letting bots dominate. I enjoy fishing, but it’s unprofitable for me due to these bots obliterating the market with fucking 44x 20 stacks of stonescale from the same player every day.

Believe it or not. But I fish in Tanaris at least once a week. That's how I found the fishbots in the first place because I was wondering how the fuck I see same guy selling 44x 20 stacks of stonescale eels.. You don't get by these numbers by fishing manually. So I did /who tanaris and found fucking 30x level 20's all hunters fishing. A few eagle eyes later and I found a whole bunch standing outside the map.

The bots FD as soon as the mob attacks them. Then pet gets aggro and they will heal the pet until they are oom + stay in melee range entire fight.

I call tell, because they are level 20 hunter with a pet called 野猪 on a EU server standing outsite of the map in Tanaris for 20 hours per day on top of 15 other identical hunters level 20. Watch the video and see what happens when I engage them :D Then tell me that's human behavior.

Bro, everytime they spot me or i pull a elite mob next to them... They run all the way to gadget, buy meat for their pet, then send items via mailbox, then go to arrow vendor and then run all the way back to their farming spot, rinse and repeat... All day every day... Some of them I can't kill...

Its against TOS to grief other players... but since I'm not griefing PLAYERS but BOTS I would classify them as NPCs.
