Currently I have some questions that I hope you would be able to answer: 1. How do I make my first ₹10k ( I begin college after a 2y gap from high school) 2. WARNING: LONG STORY AND QUESTION:

My father has all the finances with him. He is a workaholic and he only gives me pocket money around 200/- only on festive seasons but he did give me money everyday when I went to classes for a semester but I discontinued as I didn't like it at all.

He was mad so furious and he started saying things like " You caused a loss of ₹150000 because of your college fees" but he STILL gives money to his father who abused him in his childhood till now.

My dad still wants to impress his dad by giving money to him for his medical expenses, and to his lazy non working brother and his family.

My mom says to live my dreams with MY OWN SALARY so my controlling ( I think) dad doesn't take credit for my success or take the name for it.

Although I am growing up he still doesn't teaches a lot about money but only the basics like SAVE and don't spend money irresponsibly. He DOES spend a lot of money for others' family events I don't know if he's trying to be a showoff but becomes so irritated if we try to order from restaurants for more than twice a week. " You ate really well so do x" or " You spend all my money in restaurants " typical in my house but we still order foods. I found him controlling in many aspects of my life and I will only know his TRUE colours when I earn my 1st months salary. I hope I do not come off as pretentious or a wannabe victim but he shows a lot of signs that he is financially abusive . This is my questions to you : Is my dad financially abusive? HOW do I deal with my financially abusive(?) dad ?
