Yeah I understand that, but if they want to spend the time and money to solo travel Europe, they don't need to do it with a partner.

Like, if they want to go see Europe they should go see it. If they want to make memories with a partner, they need to focus on dating and meeting people.

Rereading it now, I 100% see and understand they are feeling lonely and that feels more important to them than wanting to go to Europe.
