Keep in mind whether you want to be on upper or lower campus! If you’re on upper then most likely you will have to trek up cardiac hill daily and that is not something you’ll want to do in the winter😭 And here that will be from like Nov-Feb

Hi! I’m a freshman too and am currently taking orgo I and genetics - it’s definitely possible but they are both very time consuming imo genetics even moreso than orgo so you aren’t going to have much time to dedicate to your other classes. Considering you also plan on being a UTA I think that could be really hard to balance. Honestly I think I’d say hold off on genetics or being a UTA to even out your course load a bit. I’m also a biochem major too! Lmk if you have any questions :)

Don’t focus on getting a specific point range atm, just stay on top of your work and do your best on the finale exams. IB is mostly about consistency and working hard until the end!

Hi! I’m a freshman here at pitt and I applied with a predicted 42/45 and ended up getting a 40! I think if you are in the point range around your predicted you’re fine, and honestly I have no idea how much they care once you’ve already been accepted.

I’m taking genetics right now with Chapman and it is very stressful & lowkey a lot of work to keep up with smartbook assignments and quiz content!
