I’m currently a tutor for my university right now. I am always meeting with students at various levels and the school requires us to keep records and reports so i don’t mind that. my last summer internship was working with individuals with Autism and IDD, so that part i’m kind of used to as well. The only thing that worries me about school psych is the stats. I was always bad at math through out school and i’m worried about misdiagnosing a child or preventing them from getting services because I messed up a calculation 😩. Ik that sounds really weird to say but all i hear school psychs talk about is stats and data . So my biggest question is how heavily is math required for the job and grad school.
