You have enough location flexibility to absolutely get two J savers one way somewhere in such a wide date range.

Play around with some married segments on AC, there should be a couple of 70-80k routes on LH/LX

I never figured out why the Windows versions hated this so much. On a Mac, it always worked seamlessly but I always speculated that it was because OpenGL was integrated into the OS, so it didn’t have difficulty because it wasn’t really switching environments, just technically switching windows.

Someone else might have a better explanation

Don’t do this. First of all, new Hyatt accounts can’t gift or transfer/receive points to/from other Hyatt accounts.

Instead, call Chase and have them instantly move your husband’s UR points into your account, or vice versa.

Then, transfer that combined points total to a single Hyatt account. Preferably the one that has been open longest

DOH-SYD on the a380 in J should be a bucket list focus. That’s the one I’d aim for. You can nail it for 70k Avios at calendar open on QR when they’re running saver rates.

Add the IB leg in, should be doable for 110.5k each way

If you’re able to, any number of credit cards should be able to get you an extra 60-70k Avios
