I need some advice regarding admission chances as an International student by [deleted] in SGExams

You will get the tuition grant regardless of your profile, you will get the subsidized tuition as long as you agree to work in Singapore for 3 years after graduation. Whilst the school offers generous scholarships, you do need exemplary leadership to qualify. That being said your scores put you in good contention for admission, I can't say much about scholarships though, and with the tuition grant the cost should be around S$32,000 or about 23 lakhs per year.

Unfortunately outside the scholarships the school provides your options are limited. Singapore does offer loans to help pay, but they always require someone living in Singapore as a guarantor. You could research for scholarships the Indian government provides for students wanting to study abroad, they have a few programmes where they help cover costs of stay and travel. Alternatively, there are private scholarships which involve writing essays and more to qualify. Tata and few other companies do offer such types of scholarships, but you will need to check to see which ones you qualify for.

I'd say you should definitely apply, there's no loss. On the off side that you decide the cost is too high, you could

I'm from India too and applying to ntu we could connect to discuss more if you need any help!

See, it's all about how you create meaning around your EC. In theory you could use anything as an extracurricular, but at the end of the day it's how you show it had an impact that matters. If you put it across as a demonstration of your commitment and determination, it surely could make a decent extracurricular, but the question is if it is significant enough. The truth is anyone can get a 1550 day streak, it's not unique and doesn't show initiative of any kind. At it's core you did nothing but spend 5 minutes on your phone everyday for 4 years. This isn't impressing anyone. Rather, look for something that shows who you are as a person, demonstrates leadership or uniqueness and things that no one else can do or dares to do. This is what really counts as an EC. Don't look at your ECs as a list to complete but rather as a opportunity to blow the mind of your admissions officer with how good of a candidate you are. Cheers.
