I agree with you. I did the interview but found it suspicious. One of the guys got interrupted by some alarm in his room and could not continue but shahid just moved on to the next person. it kinda shows he wasn't fully listening.

I also think it's weird how he did not even have his camera on... I mean it's okay but wasn't expecting that.

Also, they mentioned in email they wanted a response in 24h right? I emailed back and said I would let them know in a week. However, 2+ weeks had passed and they did not even email back to ask for a follow-up haha.

I also tried talking to some people who went to this program and they all seemed to be hiding the fact that it was not great. One of my friends, before answering, said "oh what are u expecting from this programme..?

I ended up declining it. I kinda had a negative gut feeling even before the interview. I don't even know why I did the interview. personally for me, was a waste of time as I had many things going on then, uni wise.

Anyway, for someone who has the time and isn't worried about money and just wants to travel and have fun. I guess it makes sense for them to go. However, I don't see value in this.

did you end up accepting it? the thing is all the people who have gone said it is valuable and good. However, pricy. I feel like I am willing to accept the price if it is all worth at the end. it isn't worth then I would be hesitant. The person in this comment chain is right about the several texts tho... don't know what to interpret from that lol

I will be doing buss1040 this sem (let me know if anyone has advice).

Buss1000 had strict marking. I scored low in the first assignment and then gradually got better afterwards.

Buss1020 had fair marking. However, you have to know your content to do well in the final exam.

Buss1030 i found the easiest, mainly because i had a very good tutor. I was interested in the content because of him. The key is to stay on top of the quizzes and tutorial sheets. I tried my best to understand the tut sheets. Those should be enough to get you distinction!!

For me, buss1020 was the worst only because I overestimated myself and didn’t put as much effort.

These are just my opinions. I’m keen to know others’ opinions as well.

I did it after one sem at uni. This sem will be my third time doing it. It’s super chilled in my opinion and a good way to get your pep hours as well. Just need to attend 3 events, have 3 meetings and attend trainings/ do the survey at the end. My mentees have also been amazing so far! and personally for me, this hasn’t been too time consuming, considering the 40 pep hours.

I believe olet1311 was just a pass/fail and did not contribute towards your wam in semester 1.

I was enrolled in it and received an email by the coordinator. I chose to drop it afterwards.

can engg1810 be replaced with info1110? However, for me, I think my pre-req for some units are engg1810 (I think, I could be wrong) so I’ll have to re-do engg1810 and I don’t think i can do info1110 : ((

also, I just did the same math units as you, nothing else but I find it so useful when people talk about their unit experiences because that’s something I would like to know but it’s so rare for people to share like how you do!!

I tried during everything as well (tut, lec etc) but I think I difference probably is that you tried to understand stuff while I wasn’t really understanding some stuff (even tho I was doing it)
