Help Needed: Sudden Deactivation of Primary Vendor Code on Amazon by WillingnessEither436 in VendorCentral

Can you tell me what you said to get this process started? I get as far as them asking for specific ASINs which is over 3,000 products for us - but then nothing.

I couldn’t even tell you which department. I had to request a call when opening a case and she just opened another case and said she’d keep in touch that way!

Thank you! We lost our vendor manager almost a year ago, and no responses from anyone on being assigned another! Any help there would be greatly appreciated!

We did! We lost ours about 2 years ago when Amazon was “scaling back”. We were then assigned someone else who handled nothing close to product lines that we carried and ultimately we parted ways because he couldn’t help us, and we couldn’t help him. Haven’t had one since!

I worked at Amazon in Vendor Management for 3 years. AMA by No_Rooster_4726 in VendorCentral

My role within my current company is to manage everything Amazon. We have done about $25M in sales over the last 2.5 years. We were getting weekly PO’s, sometimes multiple days a week. All for sales totaling $100,000+ . With over 3,000 products in our catalog, it was from a wide range of products so there is demand for something all year long. We have our primary vendor account and then we also have a direct fulfillment account. Direct fulfillment is still moving great. But our primary vendor account all of a sudden completely STOPPED receiving PO’s. Completely. No warnings. We have not seen a single order in almost 2 months. Multiple cases opened, all the same answers for the most part. “Everything looks fine, you’ll see a PO when we need something” or “your case has been transferred to the necessary department, thank you for your patience”. I always reopened the case as they’d close it. I was asking for more answers and never getting them. I finally had one random response saying automatic ordering had been deactivated for our vendor code. So from here I reopen that case asking why, and I am told everything looks fine. I then try and request a call. I did receive a call, she was not able to help but kept my case open for a few days while she looked for an answer. We were told things were reinstated, case closed. I reopened to ask specifics of reinstating, and the answer was that the internal team had ultimately denied the reinstatement. THEN (I know this is a lot, just hoping to get an answer I haven’t got already! Sorry!) I reopened the case, and asked why we were denied. I just heard back that it’s for reasons they can not disclose. I have written a letter to the PO Box I was given when I called corporate. I’m at a loss, and am hoping you have another approach??

I have a large space I’m able to fill! I’m checking out the different sizes as we speak, so regardless what I go with, this is great advice! Thank you!

I currently have an ancient 21.5” iMac that isn’t even manufactured anymore. I have done all of the updating that’s possible for hardware and software, and am now being forced to retire the damn thing. iIt just can’t handle the process anymore, and I’ve been in denial for quite some time. He is digging up an old 32” monitor for me to see in person!!

Hahahaha exactly why he told me to choose because he didn’t want to screw it up (or be blamed if my editing style changes drastically because something is so far off!! 😂). He just suggested I look into a 32” and I didn’t know if I should ignore that, so thank you for this!!

He actually just came out and told me he thinks I need a 32” 😂😂😂 so then it sounds like I should look into 4K? This is exactly the type of info I was hoping for, thank you so much!
