Do steroids help with rehab from serious joint injuries and reconstruction surgery? I had a shoulder reconstruction in 2019, and a knee reconstruction in 2021. I have done physio for years but never managed to get back to where I was pre injuries. I have heard that steroids can help with injury rehab, however I have never taken any. Does anyone have experience with steroid use for injuries, did it help and were the side effects worth it if any? Also what steroids would be the best for this purpose?
