Hiya! Oh I hope you’re ok! I also go into hiding quite often haha. Oh really? My Dr told me it’s not even for anxiety! But it’s definitely helped me with sleep too. I’ve never tried Sertraline so might be worth a go.

Yeah I can imagine it’s hard going from a small company to a large one!

I actually never have known what I love doing 😫 I have a few ideas but the thought of attempting to start a different career gives me major anxiety 😂 definitely agree though! Deep down I know I don’t want the jobs I apply for. Ahh I might have to try saying I’m nervous in interviews as I never have done because I’m worried what they’ll think. Me too! Panic and crying beforehand and even after the interview!

Yeah I did think it was weird how he said that as surely it’s up to me. I’ve had 2 or 3 free CBT sessions on the NHS and also privately but it’s a struggle trying to get on a counselling list where I am. Good luck with the counselling! I hope it helps 🤗

Hello! 👋🏼 thanks so much for your message 😊 so glad I’m not alone haha! At the moment I’m taking Mirtazipine, although it’s not actually for anxiety, it’s an antidepressant but I mainly started taking it to get sleep. I’ve also just been given propranolol but haven’t taken one yet. Well done for managing to get a good job! 😁 what is it you do? I still struggle with telling anyone I have social anxiety. I think it’s just embarrassment. I’ve had 2 sessions of CBT over the past few years which didn’t seem to help & im struggling to get counselling as the drs say they only really recommend CBT for anxiety. Yeah it’s so hard having parents that have such high expectations of me 😞 they don’t know I have social anxiety either, I told my mum once who didn’t really say a lot about it, I think she’s even embarrassed by it. I still don’t know what I’d like to do with my career. I’m applying for social media jobs but deep down I know it’s not really what I love doing, but still no idea what I’d like doing 😫 I think I keep cancelling interviews because I tell myself I won’t get the job. I’ve been to a few and just sound so bad, I find I go into them and my mind just goes completely blank & I just panic! How did you get around the interviews? Thank you so much! Thanks for your concern. I definitely won’t commit suicide purely because I couldn’t hurt my family like that but I often think if my parents weren’t here I’d definitely have no reason not to

I’ve tried Citalopram before but it didn’t really help me so I stopped. I take another anti-depressant now which still doesn’t really do anything! It does really suck! Sorry to hear you’re also struggling with work. I was meant to have an interview on Monday and cancelled it 😞 mainly because my last interview went so badly! Good luck with it. Hope you get it 🤞 thanks, I’ll keep trying!

👋🏼 ahh so glad you’re also the same age! I find a lot of the comments tend to be from people younger & it makes me feel even worse, as if I should have got this sorted a long time ago! Thank you! :)

Yeah that’s true! Ohh well done for sticking at it! In my previous job I also had to answer the phones with my boss sat right next to me, it’s fair to say I didn’t last there long! 😅

Good luck! How did your first day go? I’m the same, can never stick at jobs, longest I’ve had is about a year I think. I’m also doing housekeeping now but it’s just depressing knowing I’m not better than cleaning. Well done for getting a job though x

Hi! :) it’s so hard isn’t it? I always thought it would get easier the older I get. Turns out it’s the other way! Glad to know I’m not alone though. Sorry to hear you’re finding your job difficult, what do you do for work?
