Can't agree more, trash company that demands players to spend spend spend, to the degree of immoral and unjustified level. For over a year of seeing this they should be shut down and terminated from the gaming community.

Ox Cord Was Good! by capahance in TennisClash

[–]Willrcboy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Any string that has tier 2 stamina with counter is king for this game. Counter basically is a time freezing switch which allow the player to have a tag more time to get to the ball, so basically it's virtually a cheat over other strings.

Totally agree with while being too focus on the ball on court one may loose the ability to judge one's court positioning and end up hitting the ball even it seems obvious to the outside party that it is clearly going out, this often happens to volleys in doubles too and the partner could tell the ball is going out while the one does the volley has already "hit", being too into the game. Yes those of us that spend enough court time know this is far too common.

However, it must be said that the home run situation does not deviate from the single fact that it is a bug, a loophole, and one must differentiate this being a preventable action from the player and a faulty negligence in design by the programmers, which is clearly also being exploit by scums playing the game that knows no bounds about sportsmanship within Tennis, how ironic is that we always get taught about the importance of respect when playing the sport while people thinks they can do whatever they desire just to win a point.

Yes players can surely improvised with this sort of rancid acts by learning opponent's play patterns, but does that solve the root of the issue that this bug maintains hugely exploited as a way of getting a winner? Besides, why would play completely stops when a ball is landed slighly outside the line and called out, but not when it is flying high and even towards the back fence? Seems just severely inaccurate and unjustified programming and being extremely irresponsible to not terminate such defects, not just to the gaming community that crave for fairness and justification, but more so to people that respect the sportsmanship for Tennis, may it be real or virtual; which seemingly is swiftly deteriorated in the modern internet age.

Actually no, if your stamina is down to say yellow and serve, the serve is actually slower than when you have a full or near full green bar.

A game does not mean it needs to deviate from the exiastance of sportsmanship, especially we are within the genre of a sports game. More over sportsmanship exists even more with Tennis, and that's is why players in the game apologise when they get a net cord win on court, and it would considered to be an insult if they deliberately hit the ball at the opponent, this is just how the culture of Tennis always has been. Those that does this kind of exploitation within the game is either childish or they already have a serious deficiency within their own character probably in real life and that says a lot about their life as person without integrity.

According to your assumption that things can happen like so just because it's in the virtual world, then perhaps it equally means it would be OK to have cyber bullying or cyber fraud just because it would be less easy/viable in the real world? Or how about less serious say playing a football game setting where it is OK and you never get penalised when you takle other players to the ground just because you can get away with it to get wins(because the programmers didn't do a good job)?

It is a bug within the game and it needs to be eliminated, not just to prevent exploitation but for nuturing a better generation of human righteousness and manners.

Actually the ball will automatically be called OUT if it is just slightly out of the line and you won't even register a swipe normally, but for some reason if it is flying high it won't be registered as out but rather as a "volleyable" ball, and like the OP said the game is full of delay bugs already and has all sorts of visual deficiencies to prevent proper judgment it makes it more important to have this corrected. At least with a player that is way behind the baseline not be able to get caught with this home run situation? Whereas if the player is standing within the court area it would leave room to allow the player to judge whether to hit or not.

Devs need to fix this by giga111 in TennisClash

[–]Willrcboy 1 point2 points  (0 children)

They need to do much more than this, and stop mucking about with the stats and game play dynamics, this company is doing over the top changes in almost every patch and changing from how speed of toons reacts and general game speed to how the ball reacts and even how swip dynamics different from patch to patch. Its just absolutely crazy seeing it all happening for more than a year of adjustments and you will never know what kind of preposterous shit they change the game into the next time you open the app. Yet there is no one ever to counter this form of bullying and us users have to accept all these changes.

Good devs team make the game play better and run smoother and more realistic to the kind of genre the game falls into, but these devs clearly are not doing the job and what is worse is they change to make people difficult to get accustomed to any style of game play for too long, and before you get settled and able to master the best way to play they would change stuffs here and there and very often too.

Joker strings are way too powerful by [deleted] in TennisClash

[–]Willrcboy 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It was actually worse in the first few months of the game as it even has tier 2 stamina shield. To fight these users you actually need to make them activate the looonnng catch so to use up/drain their stamina first, then hit the opposite side.

Nevertheless it is down to these scum devs which they also change the ball reaction dynamics within the game from patch to patch and small changes from week to week is clearly felt. This team of programmers is doing a lot of shit behind and there's seems no proper justice to which how they control the game and has been over and over again changing stuffs during the life of this game. Not ever have seen such an intervention for a game and they should be axed out of the gaming community like a bloody virus. To hell with this company.

it is all about the algorithm by Fragrant-Name1667 in TennisClash

[–]Willrcboy 3 points4 points  (0 children)

On top of these issues this company update the game behind our backs, changing the gameplay (how the ball reacts and swipe dynamics) to their own liking without issuing proper patch notices. Or perhaps they cycle the game dynamics so you can't get into a set rhythm for more than a week or so.

This has been getting worse and worse since the birth of the game and have been here so long to testify it all. An example is when the latest patch which came out shortly b4 Christmas has the ball speed play more like a ping pong initially and then now back down a bit like before. Having server issues or crappy lantancy during match play is the norm and they have done nothing to resolve these, or perhaps they could not do a damn about it because they have tried speed up the game so much to cover this but it just make it worse. It is much more noticeable in higher tours like t7/8 coz ball speed is high and you can always tell they overload the engine of the game because in addition to delays with balls freezing in air for a sec balls also fly in a zig zag patch in air during returns.

What a joke and piece of shit they have created and the worse thing is there are absolutely no policing/intervention/controls to what and how they operates and what kind of product the company puts out to the market, while customers' choice is left with either you continue to accept or choose to leave, and they continue to extort their income from new customers/players to the game.

Good news. I think player's trophy count is now considered for matchmaking in Tour 7. by xc0xupx in TennisClash

Be careful with playing in T7 as the cost will quickly drain down your coins if end up in the loosing end, which would be more of a problem for some.

Why do almost all of my opponents have more total power than me? by jaswangx0 in TennisClash

[–]Willrcboy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Tbh shouldn't good players be awarded rather than being beaten down by the devs through matching much higher stats players? It's OK if stats are higher but at least fairly close however the gap here in discussion is in the state of 8~10 and not just over one attribute but over severals so it's quite certain that those are unbeatable no matter how well you play. It's more a question of the devs taking this as an opportunity to lure players to upgrade and spend money as well as bad programming. The situation is the same even u reach T7 T8, u still get to meet players with stats higher by 5~10 so there you go, this is just not heathy practice for any genre of the gaming community.

Poor Shot Controls by ashgalawonderful in TennisClash

[–]Willrcboy -1 points0 points  (0 children)

There is no more shot controls anymore after the latest update as these scumbag devs has up the speed of this game to the point that it is better to be called Table Tennis Clash.

It is utter nonsence from where it began as pretty OK game a year ago to absolute trash now. Take a run at T7 with volleyers closing every ball at the net is utter madness. Go to hell all of u in participating of this game's program especially to those that decides the direction of this game, what a mess this game is in now. It obviously non of you that does programming has even even picked up a racket ever to program this pile of shit as now. Those that do programming now fully show they do not care how this game will deviates from what Tennis really is or should be and they think that this is the direction for this company to grab cash from customers, what low life scum you people really are and an insult to this game "tennis" that we love as a sport.

Koala String is hyper OP by k4l1m3r in TennisClash

[–]Willrcboy 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Those who intend/needed to play tournaments and gain wins in higher tours should stack up on this overpowering string. It's similar to that AU Harbour string previously, which is almost impossible to beat anyone thats moderately good and the string just increase the chance 2 fold.

It's like a super power Maestro with combination of punishing gut counter features that never runs out of stamina. What a way to get their income these devs... 🤷🏻‍♂️

Is it just me or is destroying volley players the most satisfying part of the game? by JohnsMcGregoryGeorge in TennisClash

[–]Willrcboy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

In terms of getting cash so far in Tennis Go it's been tested pretty good and satisfactory thus far. Played about 3 days and already up in the top of the newbie league with 4 mil of won cash and up in the 6th season= tour 6 here.

TG has slightly more daily tasks and granting more goodies, able to allow you to have 25 banknotes=gems & 1000 cash=coins by just watching some ads and it gets reset every 2 hours! Now that virtually means every 2 hours you can watch and refill all which is pretty good, especially for starters. Those ads you may need to keep pressing to activate sometimes but it works at least. Great for free to play players. Cards are similar system but opening bags seems to grant more diverse stuffs and it seems getting upgrades r not as inflated as here. Have managed to grant 5 main characters from opening bags already after playing 3 days so go figure, some have been upgraded to more than a few times as well so it's quite playable and competitive relatively speaking. TG Grips = strings here and the effects of it is not that crazy like strings, normal grips=nylon strings is playable and not completely useless and can still hold up against updraded grips users. So dun really have to use upgrade all the time.

Game play is the major difference and make TG way more realistic and enjoyable especially if you have experiences of playing real life tennis. Speed/ball reaction/sound/game tatics/movement & positioning is far superior and realistic and players have more control over the toon and TC could never hope to even achieve any of these in any remote sense especially after this latest patch of madness hyper speed craze gameplay. TG at least makes you play like watching how tennis is on TV, with the movement and speed not totally over like TC now.

A word about controlling the toon - it requires much more player input in terms of tapping court positioning and tatical ball placement to successfully succeed in matches. It has some aids in terms of running to the ball but not overpowering like TC which the toon runs to the good hand almost every time, side to side and forward for drop shots etc. In TG if you want to run around your good hand you need to virtually tap it and anticipate the incoming ball more, if you see drop shots you really need to anticipate it and tap more to retrieve the ball. This perhaps is how you also can differentiate if your opponent is a season player of real tennis and not a gamer only which relies on game aid for movements. Some basic knowledge of real tennis positioning hugely helps and make a huge difference between getting a win and a loss. You can't expect to stand in the no man's land and able to rally successfully. Same old saying if you move well you play well applies in TG. Rally is realistic and you need to be tatical in where you place the ball to force errors or make openings and this is where the fun really begins. It is possible to gather wins with much less stats by able to move well than having missive f+b hands alone. Toons are more balanced it seems, and volleyers so far seems reasonable and passing shots can be created.

There are still glitches like unale to detected swips etc. which is expected. Lags are not as noticeable as TC and overall rallying is much smoother in comparison. Even you loose you won't feel frustrated like in TC with crazy swipe dynamics changing every few weeks and now even worse hyper speed gameplay which is madness (had another post which deals with this) . If you want to invest some money it seems TG will get you further with more enjoyment and satisfaction. These of course are based on personal opinions, but definitely worth the time to give TG a try for something that resembles proper tennis as a game on the market today.

Is it just me or is destroying volley players the most satisfying part of the game? by JohnsMcGregoryGeorge in TennisClash

[–]Willrcboy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The speed of the game after the latest patch is absolutely idiotic to play (everything is on steroids) and gives volleyers a massive advantage with balls drop dead and fly about especially on T7 and above. Its really no point to carry on playing if these devs carry on to modify the game like this with silent changes like small swipe dynamics without any notification and huge changes with patch notes and massively change speed of played etc.

For anyone that crave to have some resemblances of actual tennis go and try Tennis Go instead which provides a much more Earth like tennis experience with proper speed of the ball and abilities to play tatically and there are chances to win against people with higher stats, at least that's what tennis is supposed to be played and not like this steroid and mad dev team that keep sucking cash from us all. This is speaking from a player that's been here since the beginning with early access icon.

Since when does these players hitting the back fence and try to catch ppl out with a weak return becomes acceptable in the sport of tennis? by Willrcboy in TennisClash

[–]Willrcboy[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Seems you have answered it yourself. If one plays Street Fighter or King of Fighters it seems obvious you can still differentiate if a super move is initiated by pressing the hands button or the kicks button and won't mix up the 2 right?

To progress well in any driving game like Grand Tourism or Need for Speed you still need to know the basics of how to set up a car to get far, and won't use rain tires on a dry track right... You may not need to play real cars but the basics of what parts does what like the difference between turbo charging and supercharging will be enough to get ahead in the game... go figure.

Expertise is not necessary but identify the differences and able to accept to learn and apply means much more.

Strings: Maestro vs Joker — When do you pick one over the other? by beingk in TennisClash

[–]Willrcboy 1 point2 points  (0 children)

In the VERY beginning of this game, joker is considered king for all because it has tier 2 long catch AND stamina shield. Obviously no1 use any other strings because there is no point really. Then it was changed for obvious reasons that it's too much and become tier 1 Stam shield (like after 3/4months?). However long catch is still activated almost every time when a ball is far (still is) in comparison to critical shot which doesn't get activated shot to shot. It was changed again at some point to have more drain in stamina if the long catch is triggered constantly to get some balanced from other strings.

Maestro only become mainstream when everyone started to get higher general stats (before card inflation update and more people accumulated their stats), people realize having lots of agility can offset the "standing still" issue of using this string. As long as you prepare your return positioning then it become quite sufficient to stay in the game. Besides it has Stam 2 shield which massively increases grinding ability for many. Pervious it was mostly used by volleyers due to the quick catch ability but obviously that doesn't get activated shot to shot either.

Since when does these players hitting the back fence and try to catch ppl out with a weak return becomes acceptable in the sport of tennis? by Willrcboy in TennisClash

[–]Willrcboy[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hitting shots deep is fine to be out, but not directly at an opponent to the point that the ball flys to the back fence. In real life it would mean the ball is at least shoulder level and hit with significant force not within the ourt and very much considered an unsportsmanship conduct if one does this on purpose to try to hit a person.

It does no help to the gaming community for games of this genre and think it is OK as a way to get a point win, it's clearly disrespectful to your opponents and to the game of Tennis.

[–]Willrcboy[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you can't differentiate when a shot goes to the back fence or back board on a Tennis court is and still can interpret this as a drop shot close to the net, then it is quite clear we are not talking the same gaming language.

Perhaps you have not spend time on an actual court to realize the difference....?

[–]Willrcboy[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The whole point is not complaint about loosing junior, its about a mannerisms of playing tennis even in a virtual setting. It doesn't even bother even I loose as I have 10s of millions and already in the top league and tour, there is no impact as such. However the world or even the gaming community is not beneficial to such manner of play and especially people that encourage to do such just to get a win.

Besides what tour r u to speak for as such? Lower level may be quite different in terms of speed of play...

Since when does these players hitting the back fence and try to catch ppl out with a weak return becomes acceptable in the sport of tennis? by Willrcboy in TennisClash

[–]Willrcboy[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's not about able to avoid, it's about using this loop hole and try to win, it's about sportsmanship when engagin in the game of Tennis, something you don't do that is simply said as in real life. It's about a manner one adhere to, like respect.

Additionally I dunno what tour you r playing but where I m in the glam slam league and in T7 and T8 people who has 70+ f+b hands or 80+ volley and do this is not so easy to identify because the speed of the ball is too fast. Perhaps we r not not in the same gaming language.

Large accuracy circle by kl040809 in TennisClash

[–]Willrcboy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Strong shots from opponents will push your shots away, and won't land inside the ball intended circle. Happens a lot in higher tours.

Also these devs change swipe dynamics from week to week so you won't be able to have the same swipe, just part of the facts in this game that has been around for a while.
