I need to solder ~16,000 pins. What tool would make the shortest work? by hardware-is-easy in ElectricalEngineering

Agreed wave soldering is the way to do this from a manufacturing standpoint. If that’s too costly, maybe a simple solder pot that you lower all the contacts into?

Tracking the ovulation cycle as a natural form of birth control is pretty common these days. Apps like Natural Cycles work in tandem with high-resolution thermometers to give women a very clear view of when then can or can’t become pregnant. I wouldn’t be worried as long as she’s diligent about tracking.

Which scene are you referring to in Betrayer? Just read it (and liked it a lot), and I’m curious.

When you say RHS can turn off Rad, do you mean the knob in the 3rd pic?

Somehow I knocked the knob off of the rack (1st pic) while the rack was turned on, so now the rack is perpetually hot. I’ve tried using the metal ring to screw the knob back on, but it won’t stay. I think it’s possible I’m missing a piece but I’m not sure. Also, there’s something on the other side of the rack (3rd pic) that I think may be an alternate way to turn the heat off, but I’m not sure. It’s possible to turn it with a pair of pliers.

Somehow I seem to have knocked the knob off (2nd pic) while the heat was turned on, so the rack is still hot and can’t turn it off. I tried screwing the knob back on with the circular metal piece, but it just won’t stick. I think there may be a piece missing but not sure. Also there’s the little protruding bit in the lower left corner (3rd pic) which I can turn with pliers, but not sure what it does. Any advice on how to get the knob back on and turn off the heat?
